Our story
From Hatton Garden to your front door.
The Williams family has been in the British diamond trade for four generations. Jonathan, our managing director, learnt the trade from his father in Hatton Garden in the 1970s — at a time when every stone was sold across a desk, in person, on a handshake.
That standard of service has not changed. What has changed is who we serve. In 2008 we built our second-hand diamond buying business specifically for the modern UK market — for the people who needed to convert a stone into cash with the same fairness, expertise and discretion that they’d want from a private banker.
Today, Rebecca — Jonathan’s daughter — is the fourth generation of our family in the business. Every offer we make is signed by a named member of the family. Every stone we buy is examined by hand. Every client gets the call from someone who actually graded their diamond.
