About this tool.

A diamond price calculator estimates the wholesale buy-back value of your diamond using the four Cs — carat, colour, clarity and cut — together with current Rapaport-derived market prices. Our calculator is based on GIA Triple-Ex, Nil-Fluorescence pricing for round brilliants, with shape adjustments applied to fancy cuts.

The range reflects the variables we can’t see from the form alone — actual cut grade, fluorescence, polish, symmetry, and any treatments. Once your stone is in our hands we confirm a single firm price, in writing.

Use the ‘I don’t know’ defaults (G colour, VS2 clarity) for a safe central estimate. Or send a photo on WhatsApp and we’ll help identify the grade for free.

We do buy uncertified stones, but typically at 10–20% below the certified equivalent — the discount reflects the trade risk of grading without an independent report.

We refresh the calculator’s underlying data quarterly against Rapaport price lists and our own daily Rapnet trading. Last updated: May 2026.
